Wiki-vention

When in a conversation with friends you check wikipedia for a fact on your smartphone and become so engrossed in unnecessary links (intering the wikipedian loop) related to the original query you withdraw completely from the conversation. So oblivious to your friend’s attempts to reengage you, they resort to sending a text to your phone as the only means to contact you directly and jog you out of your stupor.
AKA the smartphone intervention when IMDB or other sites cause the same withdrawl from actual human social interaction.

Chuck "It's been 10 min since he checked Wikipedia and he hasn't spoken"
Teddy "Looks like he's stuck in a wikipedian loop"
Chuck "I'll text him, it's time for his Wiki-vention"

Wiki Wank

A "Wiki Wank" is a wee quick bout of self pleasuring.

The word "Wiki" translates into "Quick" and we all know what a "Wank" is...don't we? So basically a Wiki Wank is a quick, sometimes messy, game of "Me-Myself-&-I"!

My boyfriend has gone to the club with the lads to watch some football so I need a good wiki wank!

A hypnotic state, characterized by aimless clicking through Wikipedia for hours on end. May cause loss-of-sleep

Last night around 10:00 pm I was looking up The Critic TV show on Wikipedia. Before I knew it, it was 12:15 am and I knew a little more about Walt Disney, the Epcott Centre and Scooby Doo. Where did those two hours go? They were lost in a Wiki-trance !
