Some but not all carve out an exception for Ansarallah, having convinced themselves that they're basically Saddamites, and despite having never stood up for them when it mattered most during the Arab coalition's war of aggression against Yemen. Also commonly support Ukraine in its proxy war against Russia, whom they accuse of "Sunni genocide" or whatever.

An isisit is therefore the kind of person who justifies the truth of something on the basis that they said it.

This obviously goes way beyond circular reasoning because it usually comes with negative slurs against people who don't agree with the point of view of the person.
