Someone who sits in front of the computer for hours surfing the internet, rather than going out and having a life.

I may be a couch potato, but my cyber potato brother hasn't moved from that computer screen for 3 hours.

Cyber Monday

The Monday after Thanksgiving Day, when online retailers keep the Black Friday-like bullshit going by constantly bombarding our e-mail inboxes and facebook statuses with annoying-ass ads to buy their products on our employers' time.

These companies apparently don't realize their tactics actually have the reverse effect and that many of us are actually out deer hunting on this day and are carrying loaded .30-06 (thirty-aught-six) rifles.

If I get one more Cyber Monday e-mail today from company X I'm gonna blow my fucking laptop up!

Cyber Punk

The hardest thing to say about cyber punk is it's definition. To sum up what cyber punk means in reality - it generally covers the computing underworld of hackers, as well as various underground technology such as amateur military technology.

In fiction, cyber punk is considered a sub-genre of sci-fi, especially popular in Japanese animation (anime), although also seen in films such as Blade Runner and The Matrix. Generally, this type of fiction covers the subjects of computing, hacking and general mechanical technology.

It should be noted that cyber punk is not an officially accepted term in computer science, although it has been widely accepted as a laymans term in fiction.

That anime has mecha fights, computers that can access everyones brain, its a cyber punk anime.

Cable spaghetti can be recognized by its nexus at a surge protector. Most appliances have at least one cord or cable; many have several. Wireless devices are represented in the spaghetti by their various rechargers, none of which are compatible, so you must have a different one for every device.

The rancorous, full contact , and often brazenly partisan haranguing displayed on cable news networks (i.e. CNN, MSNBC, FOX NEWS). The phrase was popularized by President Obama during an NBC interview.

Olbermann: Lets cut the Cable Chatter and get serious. America needs real solutions.

Hannity: cut taxes...cut taxes....

Olbermann: But America needs to fund road repairs and medicaid.

Hannity: Cut Taxes... Ronald Reagan...Cut taxes...

Olbermann: But public schools and Veteran Hospitals?
