Second Season Syndrome

Second Season Syndrome comes the week or few days before the playoffs (also known as second season) in major sports, especially when the media coverage starts to become more prominent. It's when fans get so excited and over anxious and start to go a little crazy, and can't wait till game day. It is something only true sports fans experience, as they are extremely loyal fans to their favorite sports teams.

It's Thursday and Second Season Syndrome is starting to kick in.

Bailing Season

When a person/group of people decide that it is definitely time to bail out of a situation. Bailing Season originated at a theme park in England when a queue for a ride was far too long to wait for. The group mutually agreed that it was certainly time to bail, and the time that it had taken, from exiting the queue to being officially 'bailed' is known as Bailing Season. Bailing Season can last from 5 minutes to 5 hours depending on the situation.

Kid 1: This queue is not worth the utter grief.
Kid 2: What you saying'?
Kid 1: Bailing Season!

Followed by quick repeating of the words... 'bail bail bail bail, duck like bird duck like bird'.

Bad Season

1. A time period in which a person has had absolutely no luck in finding a mate of any sort.

2. When a guy has gotten shot down by every chick (or guy if he rolls like that) he has tried to hit on/ get with at every party he has been to within a span of 3 to 5 months.

Example 1. Person A: Man I haven't gotten with any girls since I broke up with Jessica 7 months ago.
Person B: Sorry bro, sounds like you're just having a Bad Season.

Example 2. Person A: Man I've been to 7 parties in the past 4 months and I haven't gotten any ass whatsoever!
Person B: Damn dude, you're just having a Bad Season
