The buttons on a video game controller that indicate direction. Most commonly the directions of Up, Down, Left and Right and usually with support for combinations (e.g. Up-Left, Down-Right, etc).

The d-pad on this controller sucks my fat ass.

d-forcing

D-forcing is the act of playing music of the dragonforce variety very loudly at passers buy whilst in a car, in order to gain their attention and also to cause surprise. The idea is to have the music set very loudly but paused, so that when a target (a person at the side of the road) is about next to the car, you can press play and "d-force" them. It is important to know that having the windows down will greatly increase impact. For added effect a shout from the people in the car can be used to gain attention just before the music is played.

In a sentence: "You've been d-forced fool!" and "Whoa! I've been d-forced" or "Lets go d-forcing"

D'Ascoli

Someone who is from the small town of Ascoli, Italy.
Original word is DiAscoli. 'Di' in Italian translates to 'of' and Ascoli being the town. Thus DiAscoli meaning 'Of Ascoli'.
When the family of DiAscoli's migrated to the United States they were forced to Americanize their name. They dropped the 'i' and added an apostrophe (which was common)

D'mah

A word that means the same thing as 'dumbass' but is used by people that don't want to be caught saying the real word in public/school.

Usually used to mention silently to a friend when someone who is not very bright makes a stupid mistake.

Idiot: "Uh, miss... why can't I see my feet?"
