it started as "let's smoke", then it became "let's toke", then it fiercely evolved into "let's joke", then i added the "tell some" in a suave attempt to evade the popo and confuse my friends.

A newspaper that focusses on profit rather than serious journalism.

A paper that has no interest in winning a Pulitzer Prize or other awards for journalistic excellence might well be a joke-a-paper more interested in revenue from display and classified ads than trying to investigate what goes on behind the scenes.

When several people are listening to someone tell a joke and one idiot decides he needs to laugh out loud before the punchline. We all have at least one friend we know that is notorious for jumping the joke.

Dude: ''Look at Tom with that huge dumbass smile on his face.
Guy: ''You know exactly what he's up to. He's jumping the joke in T minus 10.

A phrase said when you say something so outlandish or unrealistic that one may believe you are just saying it as a joke and don't actually mean it, so you say this to make it clear you're dead serious.

"I'm Joking" Paradox

When a person talks about a topic a little to much but denies liking the thing they are talking about, thus creating a paradox as it is unknown whether they actually mean what they say.
