A Market Whore is someone who uses their talent, popular name or status to contrive gimmicks or schemes for money reasons, rather than focus more on the talent for integrity reasons.
"Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. Yet two more Hollywood and New York market whores to make money off of all the kids."
"That Gene Simmons from Kiss really is a market whore. He always comes up with some new type of merchandising gimmick to sell. I mean really.. Kiss toilet paper too?"
"Looks like Madonna has yet another scandalous fashion statement and more contrived fancy footwork with a 50 foot TV screen at her shows. Wow, what a market whore. Is she really even a musician?"

Guerilla Marketing is a verb, and is described as the act of mass promoting a product or event in public. In most cases, this is the object of placing a flyer for an event in the hands of a person, or placed on their automobile.
