guys' weekend away

An exceptionally fun event that typically occurs on a periodic basis (once/twice a year). It is an event joined by a group of married (or previously married) close male friends for the purposes of a weekend of unbridled joy.
The weekend includes activities normally enjoyed only by men.
Some of these activities include:
- Drinking
- Camping
- Cooking food on an open fire
- Partying by a campfire
- Frank discussions about unusual/interesting sexual events of the previous year
- The act of telling recurring jokes, recurring themes or digs on various parties in the group
- Practical jokes
- Long hikes into the wilderness
- Dangerous stunts
- Exchange of secrets the men wouldn't tell their significant other
- Tomfoolery
- Contests of manhood (lifting large objects, swim contests, etc)
- Dares (daring random women to "show me your tits!")

Often the weekend's events create incredibly vivid memories that can (and will) be discussed by this group of friends ad-nauseum (for their wives) until the next weekend event.

When is the next guys' weekend away dude?? I need a break from the wife and kids, and could use a couple days of pure joy!

Allstar Weekend

An awesome pop-rock band from Poway, California. :)
They were first noticed when they attended a Jonas Brothers concert and handed out flyers in 2009. They are currently signed to Hollywood Records and recently released their debut album "Suddenly" on June 21st.

Quaker weekend

The weekend that is uncommonly used and unknown to many. It is when the weekend is taken on Sunday and Monday instead of the normal Saturday and Sunday. Quakers believed this to be way more productive and fullfilling

weekend noob

flocks of noobs start coming around slowly on thursday. you can feel their vibe during the game, which is often a snotty attitude topped off with im greater than you type of talk. then friday-sunday it hits. they usually are younger kids that are still in school and play on the weekends, or are groups of buddies that come over each other houses and dont know what in the hell they are doing and are somehow always on your damn team. they are often rude and talk trash talk to the point where you dont want to play anymore because you feel childish playing a game with such immature people. you can however mute the weekend noobs or simply leave the room but you will then again see... you guessed it, more noobs. the worst weekend noob game of all time is HALO. mainly because the audience of that game is people of a younger age. socom, is completely and utterly horrible come the weekends. people who play online games know what im talking about... i hope, i am writing this on a friday oh shit their here, help!!!

Allstar Weekend

A band that started as a garage band, about two years ago, following The Jonas Brothers on their tour and playing outside their venues. A Disney scout spotted them and put them in the Next big thing competition. Even though they lost, they got signed to Hollywood Records, and appear on Disney Channel and MTV every so often. Despite popular belief; they are NOT a Disney band (even though that's how they got their start) and were a band WAY before Big Time Rush was even put together by Nickelodeon. Also, Unlike Big Time Rush, they write their own music, have deep voices, weren't put together, and don't have a comedy show because they are to busy working on new music and albums, rehearsing and playing concerts for their adoring fans, having USTREAMS and Stickams for their fans, and hanging out w/ their fans.

Anyone w/ common sense (and a brain): Actually, A-Dub was a band way before BTR existed.

2) friend: Why do you like Allstar Weekend?
Me: Because they are super sweet, down-to-earth, funny, adorable, have amazing music, actually play their instruments and sing on stage, have Meet 'n' Greets at every single concert, and love their fans.
