smoke and mirrors meeting

when you work for a corporation that has contract meetings with you every year in December to "negotiate" your contract for the following year, but it's just a meeting in which the manager attempts to confuse you with lofty, rarely attainable preditions on how your offices business will grow 20%-30%, and how you will make "X" amount of dollars on your bonus when that happens. What you actually get at the end of the year is rarely what they said you would get, and if you do happen to get your bonus that year, they will make SURE you don't get it the following year!

the manager used smoke and mirros to try and trick me in to thinking i was going to get my bonus next year....but i saw right thru his bullshit!

noun - Usually an occurance during a one night stand; the business meeting takes place when, upon entering the bedroom, both parties are nude at a strikingly fast rate and go immediately into sex. There is no foreplay. This is straight fucking. Also, one of the parties leaves immediately after as no one hangs around the conference room after a business meeting.

Yeah, I took Jan home from the bar last night. We go to her house and it was a straight business meeting. I don't even think we kissed. I was back at the club in an hour, and I think I lost a sock.

An 80 proof bourbon whiskey which is produced by the Heaven Hill distillery in Kentucky. It is marketed as a very cheap bourbon (a liter is under $10), but it actually has a pretty good taste.
