a state that you can get into if have been looking for sesquipedalian and/or esoteric words on the internet or reading trivia books. You're in the "zone" & you would be just fine playing 'Jeopardy' or 'Who wants to be a Millionaire'.
I spent all day looking up strange words on Wikipedia, when, all of a sudden I had a revelation and got infomania, I sounded like a walking Library of Congress.

An item presented on an infomercial that has multiple, seemingly unrelated, and usually worthless uses.
TV Infomercial: "Don't you hate when shredded cheese needs to be shredded finer? Don't you also hate when vomit from a sick family member clogs a drain? Not any longer. The VomieShredder get's the job done. Just 5 easy payments of $19.99 plus $17 for shipping and handling"

Wife: "That's amazing! We need one of those."

Husband: "Are you nuts. That's Infojunk."

Derived from an article in a very famous newspaper that described a practise as "informally formalized." To formalize a practise at the working level, without official sanction.
The manual didn't cover how to submit product concerns, so we've informalized the process of submitting product concerns by email.

Infodump

Often used among neurodivergent & autistic folks as a verb, meaning sharing a lot of information at once because the subject matter is of special interest. For some neurodivergent folks it’s a kind of “love language,” because we need to feel comfortable in order to share or indulge in our special interests. For others, infodumping is just how we communicate - I have knowledge on this subject you might not have.
We were talking about music and a Harry Styles song came up, and before I knew it I was infodumping about his gender expression, One Direction’s controlling management, and the culture of labeling queerness and how it intersects with queer pride and acceptance…

I could listen to you infodump whale facts all night, I just like spending time with you.
