Infodump

Often used among neurodivergent & autistic folks as a verb, meaning sharing a lot of information at once because the subject matter is of special interest. For some neurodivergent folks it’s a kind of “love language,” because we need to feel comfortable in order to share or indulge in our special interests. For others, infodumping is just how we communicate - I have knowledge on this subject you might not have.

We were talking about music and a Harry Styles song came up, and before I knew it I was infodumping about his gender expression, One Direction’s controlling management, and the culture of labeling queerness and how it intersects with queer pride and acceptance…

I could listen to you infodump whale facts all night, I just like spending time with you.

Usually seen in online forums, where the easiness of Copy/Paste is abused, an info dump is used to deposit large amounts (usually entire articles) of information without summarizing or paraphrasing the information.

Anthony: Have you heard of the Flying Spaghetti Monster?
Dirk: Nope, what is it?
Anthony: *copy & pastes entire article from Wikipedia and About.com*
Dirk: Holy shit, keep the info dump to yourself!

Infodumpy

Infodumpy is the action of supplying a large amount of giant black ass by turning around and backing up. The term was first used in 2024 in the VC of The boys, the first rubs of coconut oil on Fades big dumpy caused seismic claps, causing multiple earthquakes all over the world. Over time, Fade would store gogos crazy bones up his ass and the term infodumpy was adopted in the context of Fade has a fat ass, as well as by The boys community.

Infodumpy;

"Giant Greggs sausage rolls up my ass"
