Ex 2:

You and your friend walk by someone who you think is high.
You say to your friend, "The/those birds are real for that guy."

Meaning, the two birds on a wire may be best friends, but they can still lose each other. Things can move at different places, and may even fall behind. Cherish each other.

Guilty Birds 

When you're up so late (normally due to impending deadline) that the dawn chorus starts, reminding you of how tired you're going to be the next day and making you feel guilty for leaving the work until the last minute
