Sit-down comedy 

Exactly the same style of comedy as "Stand-up comedy" except that you are sitting down while you are doing it.
(i.e. at a table, sitting at the bar, in a car, bus stop, office, etc.)

On a long cross-country road trip, I entertained Tina-Louise with hours of my sit down comedy.

I killed at the dinner table last night, it was pure sit-down comedy.

comedy-captive

A person who politely smiles and feigns amusement, while someone in their presence re-enacts a comedy sequence so poorly that others nearby are embarrassed.

John's longwinded retelling of the usually hilarious apoopalypse skit made me a comedy-captive for four painful minutes.

comedy central 

Once a channel which had minimal viewers, but then south park came along, and the show kicked so much ass that the channel than kicked ass too. Except for Mad TV, which is a cheap spin-off of SNL, which was only funny every other week on one skit, Mad TV is funny about every 6 months on half of a skit, basically the show is doing to Comedy Central what the Holocaust did to jews

Guy 1: Hey did you see South Park on comedy central which wasn't that great until South Park was added, but still has Mad TV, which is a cheap spin-off of SNL, which was only funny every other week on one skit?
Guy 2: Yes, but did you know in 2007, 48.5% of teens reported not using a condom during sexual intercourse?
Guy 1: No I did not
Guy 1 and 2: The more you know (The background fades to black and a rainbow, stars, and the words "The more you know" appears over their heads)

Bromantic Comedy 

A romantic comedy based on an eerily close platonic heterosexual relationship between two (or more) bros.

Rick: Hey, that movie "I Love You, Man" is an excellent example of the new genre of film that is the bromantic comedy.

Jorg: Yes, why don't we go out and watch it when we finish drinking these Busch Lites, playing Gamecube, and listening to this Jack Johnson CD!

Comet Hale-Bopp 

a spectacular comet that graced our skies in 1996 - 1997. It lead to lots of stupid New Age speculation due to the "prophecy" and angel-encounter end-of-the-millenium bullshit that was going on in near the end of the 20th century. There were cult suicides, and superstitious predictions that did not come true. It was very prominent in the sky in early to mid 1997. Dubbed the "Comet of the Century", Hale-Bopp was a thrill to see and a once in a lifetime event, although you can't tell when the next comet "biggie" may come our way.

Comet Hale-Bopp was discovered by the American astronomers Alan Hale and Thomas Bopp.

Comedomes 

Blackheads, whiteheads, and red spots.
Spelt also as "Comedones"

There are two basic types of Acne; non-inflammatory acne and inflammatory acne.



Non-Inflammatory Acne

Noninflamed lesions called comedomes, consist of two types of acne:

1. Closed Comedones, or whiteheads, with no visible opening.
2. Open Comedones, or black heads with visible, dilated openings that are discolored as exposed fatty acids are discolored by air.

Inflammatory Acne

Inflamed lesions result when the follicular wall ruptures to produce up to three types of acne:

1. Papules: the mildest form of inflammatory acne this lesion appears as a small and firm lump in the skin. This is often quite tender but unless there are many, rarely obviously visible.
2. Pustule: like papules, pustules are small and round, however, pus is visible.
3. Nodule: otherwise known as cystic lesions, this is the most serious form of acne and is the result of comedone pollutants spilling into surrounding tissue. The body reacts to this by producing pus to halt the spread of infection. This type of acne may cause scarring if left untreated. Medical treatment is advised.
