That doomed feeling when you have a craving for coffee while you are trying to fall asleep.

David had insomnia and stayed up all night because he was coffee cursed. He knew that he wouldn't be able to fall asleep unless he cured his craving, meanwhile knowing that coffee would also keep him awake. It was a lose-lose situation.

coffeecon

Having a business conversation on the phone while in a coffee shop. Requires the coffeeconee to look and act more serious than other patrons in the shop and walk around looking for the one spot in the joint where the background music cannot be heard. Also involves cupping one’s hand over the microphone to reduce background noise.

Jane reluctantly agreed to the coffeecon even though she knew the background noise would include more alt-rock music than her co-workers would care to listen to.

coffeetastrophe

this is what happens when one forgets to put the coffeepot on the burner after turning on the coffee maker. Resulting in water overflowing from the filter all over the counter. After which one runs into the kitchen and puts the coffeepot on the burner to try and save some of the coffee. Only to find half of the coffee grounds now in the coffeepot. At this point swearing is authorized!
