Ambrose's Law

In today's political climate, as an online discussion grows longer in length, the probability of Donald Trump being mentioned approaches 1. That being, if an online discussion goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will mention Donald Trump, even if it has nothing to do with the original topic at hand. When such an event occurs, the person guilty of invoking Ambrose's Law has effectively forfeited the argument.
"The steak I bought at the grocery store was delicious, you should try it."

"You and all Trump supporters are what is wrong with this country."

"By invoking Ambrose's Law, and making no sense, any argument you are trying to make is null."

Moldy's Law

Give someone the chance to be stupid, and they will take it.

paddy's law

"A well-known rule that any reddit thread that becomes large enough will eventually have an American pretending to be Irish." -u/MacHaggis

Americans often like to identify themselves as the nationality of their ancestors despite not having that nationality themselves. They'll claim to be Irish on forums like Reddit, where you expect someone saying they're Irish to be from Ireland.

While interacting with people actually from Ireland, they still claim to be Irish despite having no connection to the country. Usually they cite culture and bloodlines as the justification.
"I'm Irish, which is why I've always wanted to visit Ireland. My great-great grandmother was from Ireland, so I'm both culturally and genetically Irish. I grew up hearing all about Ireland because it's my family's homeland. I've never heard of 'The Troubles' though, is that a new band?"

"As an actual Irish person, you're not Irish, you're American. Paddy's law strikes in every goddamn thread."

Oddity's Law

If one or more specific instances of a class of items or persons have a negative quality, all items or persons of that class must be considered to have that same negative quality.
1) There are some bad salespeople; therefore, all salespeople are bad.

2) I once owned a Honda that broke down; therefore, all Hondas are junk.

3) A black person once stole from me; therefore, all black people are thieves.

4) Throwing out the baby with the bath water.

DeWynter's Law

DeWynter's Law states that the general perception of something (such as a television show or video game, and most notably in the case of sequels) will generally be negatively affected by the existence of something else that does much the same things, but "better".

For example in the case of a sequel to a video game or movie: Say the first in a series is a 9/10. If a sequel is released that does much the same thing but a little worse, it will be much more negatively reviewed than if the original hadn't existed.
The Fable series of video games really suffered from DeWynter's Law; The second game would have been so much better if I hadn't played the first.
