Asr prayer

The asr prayer prayed just after noon it's the 3rd of five formal daily prayers performed by practicing muslims, the formal daily prayers of Islam comprise different numbers of units called rak'at, the asr prayer has 4 obligatory rak'at, the first two fard rak'at are prayed aloud, and the 3rd and 4th prayed silently.

navy prayer 

A prayer for those moments in the navy when you have no business surviving a situation. When you should be dead, but for some inexplicable reason, you survive. When that happens, you know there is a higher power, and you thank him. Or her.

Akin to: “There are no atheists in foxholes,” but specific to the navy.

Example 1: The navy fighter pilot ejected from the airplane. Realizing he should not have survived the ejection, the pilot said a quick navy prayer as he (she) hung in his (her) parachute.

Example 2: Two thousand miles from land, the sailor was blown off the flight deck of an aircraft carrier and survived the 100-foot fall only to watch the ship stream away. When he was recovered, the sailor said the navy prayer was his (her) only hope.

Dial-a-Prayer 

Calling 9-1-1 for emergency services in any large city. Response time is so poor that you'll be dead before help arrives anyway.

I called Dial-A-Prayer but the soonest they can get anyone out is 45 minutes.

The "noise prayer" is a position wherein a performer has his (or her) hands crossed, usually at or near the wrists (one on a mixer and the other on an instrument), and head bowed (either looking at the instrument, the mixer, or simply absorbing the moment.

Now that was an intense "no input mixer" set; dude even had the noise prayer going for 30 of the 35 minutes of his singular feedback tone.
