A black pedigreed dog from a story that has been used in honors classrooms.

A dog that was owned by a girl named Sandy and sadly died by having all his bones crushed. (Yes I did just spoil the ending for you, so what?)

Lob was reluctant on giving up that he couldn't have Sandy as his owner instead of Mr. Dodsworth :(.

Lob was a oblivious dog and covered Sandy in sand when they first met. (Iconic right?)
