Aura (Hood)

In basic terms, it describes a persons spotlight. If someone has the most Aura in a room the spotlight is basically on them. A combination of having the most energy, influence and impact. If your Aura is low then you could leave the room and nobody would care/notice.

Mostly a rare and forced slang.

Synonyms: Relevancy, Popularity, Swag.

Example 1:
"Jacks Aura (Hood) is MJ level."

"Bro stop dickriding, you wanna be his girl or something?"

Example 2:

"Dang, she got Aura for real."
"Facts, she doesn't even have to do anything for you to notice."

When someone does some dumb shit that basically kills your whole personal vibe towards yourself, whether it's around females or whenever you're with a female. A person can kill your aura

Aura Maxing

"Aura" or "Aura Maxing" is an internet term to describe how gravitational ones presence is. Usually by being mysterious, attractive, intelligent, etc...

- You can loose aura points by going out of your way to look cool and failing in the process.

- Some people just naturally have high aura but some also gain it as well.

"Everyone be so curious about this nigga. I don't get it, he just be chilling fr."

"Yeah, bros tryna aura max lol"

A trend started on tiktok, common uses might include:

Landing a kickflip in front of a group of girls +100 Aura

Accidentally saying "you too" when a waitress says to enjoy your food -100 Aura

Hitting a 2 plate bench in front of a hottie in the gym +100 Aura

Overshooting your weight capabilities on a machine and having to lower the weight after 1 half-assed rep - 100 Aura

Person 1 - *does burnout in murdered out corvette* + 100 Aura Points
"I felt the aura from a mile away."

Person 2 - *stalls their honda civic in front of a group of highschoolers* -1000 Aura Points

Aura points

“Aura” is being cool or respected, but when a person does something embarrassing or not to be seen in a good light, they will lose “aura points.” Therefore, “aura points” is measuring how cool and/or respected someone is and is typically referred to as a loss of said “points.” This term gained much attraction in online spaces and conversations.

Friend 1: “How many aura points did I lose when I went back with my ex after he cheated on me?”

Friend 2: “Dang that’s bad -200 points, I’d say”

Doing random acts for the sake of gaining aura. For example, Duke Dennis shaking skittles like dice before eating them. Another example is an unpopular girl purposefully taking photos with popular girls to boost her aura.

Aura Deprivation

Similar to the term Aura loss, Aura deprivation is the opposite of aura farming. It is usually an end result of aura farming gone wrong. It can also be achieved through doing incredibly embarrassing acts like falling down the stairs, calling to someone who doesn't reply, and getting dropped for someone less attractive than you.

Person 1: bro did you hear johns girl cheated on him and then broke up with him
Person 2: did you hear he wrote her a love song to try and win her back
