The color theory of One, Ton, or None is about nailing a fluid style where the eye can rest. One pop of color gives focus where two pops can distract. Ironically, a full flood of colors creates calm. Not something, Not nothing. None. Left with nothing of something. Zero of nothing. None of nothing.

I don't want none of nothing, that you are bringing to the bbq. None of that nasty food. Not a plate of potato salad. None of the burnt chicken. None of nothing. I don't want it.

Ass to none is just a way to say “little to nothing”, meaning there is a very small amount in either a literal or metaphorical sense depending on context.

Jenny: “How much was your paycheck this week?”
Kate: “Even with my overtime? Ass to none.”
