Late Night Hype

When you meet someone you're not dating or in a relationship with at a time after 1 a.m. You hang out, hook up, have sex, etc. It's a really fun thing to do.

Often mentioned in rap songs. Check out Compton's Most Wanted "Late Night Hype" (all parts 1-3).

I'm hooking up a late night hype with Alexandra at 2 o clock tonight. Last time I had one with Daniella I had a great time.

Late-Nights

Late-Nights are a popular post-party parties at many college campuses and universities. Similar to pregames, late-nights occur an hour or two after the main party has ended, typically around 4:30 in the morning. Late-nights are characterized by a revitalization of the alcohol supply by bringing out booze that was being saved in closets specifically for late-nights, beer pong (beirut), and dancing. Late-nights are where it's at, and if you remember the 'crazy' time you had, you weren't there.

"Man I have this terrible hangover."
"So the party was pretty crazy?"
"Well the party was decent, but the late-nights where INSANE!!"

Latashia

As of late

A combination of two proper phrases, "As of today," and "Lately," meaning an event which recently happened or has been happening repeatedly. Current indifference to butchered English has made its use more popular than the correct phrases, elevating it to more innocuous than similar travesties "These ones" and "On accident."

Red Sox relief pitching has been terrible as of late.

A prominent phrase said by Swiper the Fox in almost every episode of the hit cartoon "Dora the Explorer". He steals the goods from Dora and Boots and says this.

Heh, heh, heh. You're toooo late, you'll never find your backpack now. {He then throws the backpack into bushes, then runs the opposite direction. I wonder what his motive is, I mean come on. And same thing with the grumpy old troll, who lives under the bridge.

late-night vibes

The feels when you stay up late to talk to someone about life. When you binge Netflix while eating ice cream. Your life dreams and goals become real. When you cry out all of your pain and you read a good book. When you listen to your favorite song and it brings you back to happy memories. When all of your emotions burst out.
