A great place where you can "discuss" basically anything, but you usually wind up with a bunch of people who post random videos of stupid shit and have threads like "Guess what type of shoes the person above you" is wearing... but the myspace forums could have very intelligent topics, especially in the religion and philosophy section, and even that turns out to be 2012 bullshit.
Filled with lots of deleted YouTube videos, spam, trolls, and flame wars.

Get the myspace forumsmug. Someone who spends time in forums or on Facebook criticizing fire departments or fire service personnel and how they operate. If from a busier Dept, this person usually, if placed in the same situation as those he's criticizing, would have done the same exact thing. If from a slower Dept, this person probably hasn't ridden fire apparatus in years or at all. More frequently, this person is from a department that is relatively slow compared to the one he's criticizing. This person sometimes has a pile of certificates certifying him to perform duties that he could never do given the opportunity.
Michael says that Company "A" puts too many people in harms way. However, most company "A" personnel have reset their pagers for more fires than Michael has ever been to. Company "A" also has a great safety record. Michael probably works at radio shack and rides an ambulance more often than fire trucks, if at all. Michael is a nationally certified Forum Firefighter.

Get the Delphi Forumsmug. A forum for fans of the TV musical comedy Glee. Basically a place where gleeks complain about what/who they don't like on the show, and fight each other.
Gleek: Figgins is the worst character on Glee! Terri Schuester should be principal! I'm going onto glee forum right now to explain why...

Get the forum parasitemug. I saw some other definitions about LD and policy, and they were old, so I made this so a newer debater can understand. I will assume you understand the rules and various jargon used obsessively throughout most of the debate community. Public forum, compared to other debate events, while not necessarily the best, should still be highly considered. Looking at other debate forms such at LD, policy, and congress, PF is the most fun. PF is like the "Goldilocks" event. LD is too boring (who would want to judge two roman-nosed high schoolers in suits talking about the values in life for and hour), policy requires too much time researching random and stupid arguments (penguins lead to nuclear war) or perfecting speaking speed, and congress is vague, lazy, difficult to become good at, and rounds are loud and you barely get to speak. Public forum also looks good on applications, teaches you to debate lay a lot better (which definitely helps you a lot more in later parts of your life), and is probably the most "easiest to learn, hardest to master" type of debate. Give it a try.
"I'll never quit public forum. Screw policy."
"Ugh...this congress round will never end."
"Who tf cares about principles and values in life?"
