Cold fries

The situation when one is engaged in a threesome and two of the participants become extremely into each other, neglecting the sexual needs of the third person and eventually ignoring them almost entirely. Derives from the scenario in which one is enjoying a fast food meal and immediately devours the burger, only to neglect the side of fries until later, leaving them cold, jealous, and a little salty.

Cold shoulder

The act of a person completely disregarding or ignoring another. This can be caused by a few things:

1. A person is in a bad mood and doesn't feel like talking to anyone.
2. A person says something so incredibly stupid that it doesn't deserve a response, thus the person is ignored.

I wanted to be friends with my ex, but she gave me the cold shoulder.

Cold Turkey

A faster but unpleasant method of stopping an addictive habit, such as drugs or alcohol. It means that you just totally, completely stop, and never do it again (or at least try to).

Going cold turkey is opposed to stopping it by gradually doing it less and less, or stopping it with help like special gum or medicine. You don't get any help; you just stop.

Lydia tried to smoke only one cigarette a week, but she ended up going back to her old habits. She decided to try out going cold turkey.
