Ann Coulter's friend and mentor, also an author and television "talking head". Ms Olson died on September 11, 2001 when the plane she was on was hijacked and slammed into the Pentagon, belying the widespread liberal myth that Ms Coulter didn't lose anyone dear to her that day (Ms Coulter has been increasingly shrill and combative, especially on the subject of Islam, ever since).

Barbara Olson wrote two excellent anti-Clinton books, _Hell to Pay_ and _The Final Days_.
