The usual caricature is a young college-educated white woman seems to be content with the rat race, and spends many thousands of dollars to see Taylor Swift- or for cathartic, non-liberating pleasure in general. The term is used to followers of LeftTok to call out and satire those exhibiting white feminist tendencies.

Much of Taylor Swift's fan base claims to embrace & embody feminism, but the kind that works within neoliberal capitalism, the carceral state & society, contemporary white supremacist structures, and anti-communitarianism. When they are nudged to recognize and realign, they usually ignore it all and go back to indulgence.

I came across this Swifty on TikTok that was saying "the real poors are the ones who have to stand outside the stadium for Taylor Swift's Era's Tour."
