A well-known word commonly used by the international volleyball community to "explain" an underwhelming serve, where the volleyball lacks the power to pass over the net, or in some cases, goes out of bounds in front of the net.
The origin of the term; Soft-serve-Marte is currently unknown, although speculation suggest it might originate from a volleyball player from Norway, named Marte.

Soft guy/girl- You still you think I'm soft, you think you're tough? I'll knock your lights out.
Other guy- It's an observation, not an opinion.

The term “Soft Guy Era” is often used to describe a King who has reached the ultimate pinnacle of enlightenment and will no longer tolerate disrespect from romantic partners. A strong, independent Soft Era King expects his women (plural) to hand money up to the pedestal on which he resides.
Kings in their Soft Era do not have time for women who can’t plan dates and drop thousands of dollars on a first date, buy him cars, golf clubs, clothes, watches, and other bare minimum necessities. He expects his women (plural) to protect and provide for him at all times anything he desires because if she wanted to, she would.
Modern households require two incomes so a Soft Guy King expects his women (plural) to hold multiple jobs and work overtime to pay for his lifestyle. He does not associate with dusties who are giving broke. A Soft Era King will block these women because he knows his worth.
In return for his Passenger Prince treatment he brings nothing to the table…because he IS the table. Drizzle Drizzle.

Simp: “How much do you spend on a first date?”
Soft Guy King: “Bro ima pretend u didn’t ask me that just now. I’m in my Soft Guy Era. Women paying for dates is the bare minimum.”

Guy: "Yeah, it's gonna be a while before I can eat ice cream again..."

See coal toll for opposite definition.
Hunter Biden, Bill Clinton, and Bernie and Levi Sanders are all excellent examples for being POS's that fall under a soft kiss from a marshmellow fellow.
