Larry

“Larry” is the name given to a guy who is a bad date. The term can be used in many ways, but often to define someone to be considered a “loser”, a boring man, a weird guy; a man who is unaware or oblique to his own oddities and/or his problematic ways (an incel of sorts).

P1: “ugh, I went out with a guy last night and he was so weird! He literally could not read the room. He interrupted me whenever I spoke, and blamed me for -him- being late!”
P2: “was his name Larry?”

P1: “the guy I went out with the other day said that the dating scene was rough nowadays because women don’t give ‘nice guys’ like him a chance; and that he knows how to respect women cause he was raised by a ‘female’ and had two sisters”.

Leroy

(noun) A person who consistently gives a Low Effort Response (L.E.R.) to texts, posts, or online conversations. Can also be the original poster of something so vague, underwhelming, or lazy it saps the energy from the thread. Think: one-word replies, emotionless reactions, or passive-aggressive nothings like "meh," "this," or "lol."
