Screamo

People often label bands as screamo when they scream but most of the time they're wrong.

Screamo died in the 90's... RIGHT..
but now new bands started to play like a comercial screamo
that is kinda good actually...
saetia, orchid, Reversal of a man, are/were good screamo bands.
Orchid is actually Hardcore Punk, but fuckin fags keep telling that's screamo when it's not.
Screamo has "turned" into a new genre... that is mixed or confused with Screamocore:
bands as underoath, haste the day(at it's beginnings), shaped by fate, symphony in perfil, norma jean (garbage screamo/grunge screamo) are screamo bands NOW.
bands like atreyu and the bled are "hardcore".

bands like alesana and finch a part from being gay are fuckin pop... those cock suckers suck.
New Screamo is characterized by vocals and some parts of singing, melodic guitars, continous drumming and a elaborated music that put up together sounds better.
And ZAO is NOT A screamo band!. that's hardcore/metal

and please don't fucking mix: emo, emocore, violent emo, southern rock, hardcore, metalcore, WITH FUCKING SCREAMO!

Screamo

Screamo is a specific subgenre of music that spawned in the 1990s, Real screamo is actually pretty badass from what I've heard, but that's not what my point here is. The definition of screamo is not "a band that has screaming in their songs" or metal in general. Many people, when they hear that someone likes metal, makes fun of the person and says the person loves screamo. They have to keep pushing that screamo is the worst thing since stepping on Legos. That person is in fact wrong. Post-hardcore, metalcore, thrash metal, death metal, and hundreds more of subgenres have screaming. If you're gonna insult someone, at least try to do your homework before you embarrass yourself.

Asshole: HAHA! THAT EMO FAG LIKES SCREAMO! GAY! AHA!
Metalhead: I don't like screamo, you moron. I'm only really into thrash metal.

Screamo

Screamo is a music related term which originated in the 80's or 90's. It is generally classified by rough "screaming" vocals. Although it is generally listened to by teenagers and people in their young 20's this type of music can be listened to by people of any age or background. Many bands who are not technically screamo (Take Sleeping With Sirens for example) are often confused or labeled as screamo due to the occasional scream, even though it is not their main type of music. Screamo itself is normally not a genre of its own but will be characterized in many genres such as hardcore or punk rock.

The worst genre of music ever created. It takes absolutely no talent to be a singer for a Screamo band. All you have to do if you want to be a Screamo singer is bend over, pull down your pants, have one of your friends hold a microphone to your mouth, and another one violently shove a pineapple inside your rectum, and bam, you're a screamo singer, and then you can have a bunch of moronic retards in all-black and tight girl pants and eyeliner follow you around like you're Jesus.

Screamo

A term mostly used by teens to describe a fusion of Emocore and Hardcore to create a new sub-genre. A recent example would be the band Bring Me The Horizon.

A genre of music crossing between emo music and a more hard-core metal, with the emotion and lyrics of emo music, with the heavyness and screaming vocals of hardcore.

Think the bands Silverstein (When Broken Is Easily Fixed), It Dies Today (The Catiff Choir), From First To Last (Aesthetic), From Autumn To Ashes ( Holding A Wolf By The Ears), THESE are Screamo, NOT My Chemical Romance, NOT Finch, NOT all old music from the 90'S!!!

A word people mistake for being post-hardcore/metalcore music. Bands like: Bring Me The Horizon, The Amity Affliction, Of Mice & Men, Asking Alexandria, Chelsea Grin, Pierce The Veil, Parkway Drive or even Black Veil Brides (are people fucking crazy) etc are usually called "screamo" either by Emo/Scene fags or people who have never heard a vocalist who screams.
