Confused Scope

A person who confused scopes will use a sniper rifle, but instead of aiming down the scope, or quick scoping, like sniper riffles were made for, they aim down the sights while rapidly moving the left anolog stick every-which-way, resulting in either a one hit kill or a hitmarker, despite the fact a majority of the time the cross hairs miss the target. Then when somebody uses a sniper riffle for what it was meant for and look down the scope or quickscope, the people who confused scope yell at the player who looked down the scope or quick-scoped and scream "I WAS GOING FOR A CONFUSED SCOPE". Confused scopes are a good way to make your friends angry, right after they yell "Make it a nice killcam!".

Everyone-"Yes"

*FINAL KILL*

Demetre-"JACOB!"

Jacob-"It was a confused scope!"

Everyone-"Oh that's okay then."

Quick Scope

Pussy-assed n00b tactic in FPS games, particularly the Modern Warfare games, who exploit the cheap auto-aim bot that center's your reticule on your target if you aim downsight while he is nearby. They primarily use the Barrett and Intervention sniper rifles, and do nothing but dart around the map one-shot-killing everybody with no regard for the cheapness of the tactic they are employing. They even make fun of players who use the sniper rifle the right way.

That noob just wants to do nothing but run around and quick scope everybody. Let's team up on him and take him down.

silent scope

An arcade-style game that is usually accompanied with a sniper rifle. You have limited life and limited time to take out all targets on the screen.

Your usual objective is to take out enemies, key targets, or carefully eliminate the character while he/she has a hostage.

To have the utmost experience of sniping, always play at an arcade; Controllers just don't cut it.

Tap Dancer: Wanna play DDR? LOL!
Rifleman: Pfft, screw that game. I'm heading over to the Silent Scope area.
