When you live in a place that has no beaches to tan, one must resort to tanning by a pond.

Waterloo doesn't have a single beach for tanning. So we had to go ponding instead.

The failure on a friend's part to step in and prevent a terrible situation from happening. In most instances, the friend not only fails to prevent the situation from happening, but makes an observable effort not to help. This is an allusion to The Office Episode where Jim leans back and allows Michael Scott to fall into a koi pond.

Pond skater

A working class person in the U.K. who votes Tory and invokes American capitalist views that harm services like the NHS. It refers to ‘across the pond’ meaning the Atlantic Ocean and the fact that ones political views leave one at the bottom of the food chain, especially below Pepe the Frog.

Only a pond skater would vote Tory with no pot to piss in.

A person who dances and does tricks on a pole. Pole dancing is a hard physical sport and is not to be confused with strippers or anything sexual.

Poledancers must have strong arms and abs to be able to do those tricks on the pole.

To disband or collectively boot all members from a chat room that you created in a tizzy fit of rage when someone posts anything that you (the creator of the chat) disagree with. Extra bonus points for the room having been created to spread good will and promote teamwork. this behavior is found primarily in fiery redheads.
