Plain and simple, this was started by the Mexicans. It's their way of saying "Man".. This is due to the Mexican accent converted to English. Now people say 'mang' because it's (1) different and (2) humorous.

Guy or Girl who would permanently camp out in the manga section of Borders, Kinokuniya or Barnes and Noble in order to read manga, but never actually buys anything, thus hampering the royalties manga artists can earn.

Not always scruffy, can be deceptively clean, but inside their heads is the mind of a cheapskate.

This word is a variation of Hobotaku which has appeared in various online and blog articles related to the state of the manga publishing industry.

Greg is such a manga hobo. Why doesn't he actually pay for anything. Does he even leave this section?

literally the best person ever that will always laugh with you. she’s gorgeous and the funniest person but makes sure to tell u to shut up when ur being annoying. she is very creative with ways to tell u how she hates u but only if you return the favor. she has a strong influence with her language and has a really cool brother. she always has a way to make you laugh while being the smartest person ever. she had the coolest outfits ever in elementary and sixth grade and is the funniest blonde you’ll know. she’s great at creating convos about thing you don’t remember at all such as robert e lee. never make her mad bc she will most definitely give u the death stare in the hallway and throw shirts at ur head. a professional waterfaller except at panera (she peed herself #loser).

phonebook manga

A slang term for the weekly manga magazines which are quite common in Japan and nerd specialty stores. These weekly manga are considerably huge and used use thin paper similar to that found in phonebooks, hence the name "Phonebook Manga".

You'd have a lot more space in this room if you threw away some of those phonebook mangas.

a handshake that is very manly in quality, similar to manshake except that is it performed only by manly men.
Also used to greet (butch) lesbians.

I saw Chuck Norris and Isiah Mustafa having a mandshake on TV last night.
