Hightstown

Ah, beautiful Hightstown, New Jersey, exit 8 on the NJ Turnpike and located directly in the center of this magnanimous state. Let us bathe ourselves in its diversity as though we are dipping into a warm bath on a freezing day in the dead of winter on the great mid-atlantic plain that is New Jersey. But why, you may ask? Because Hightstown is unique. Travel to some town in southern PA and try to find a mix of Latin Americans, African Americans, all kinds of white Americans, Indian Americans, and Asian Americans equal to that of glorious Hightstown. Let's love this great motley town with its antique American mainstreet and residential area at the center (what is Hightstown), the quintessential American suburb (East Windsor, let's not exclude Twin Rivers), and then a couple of farms scattered across the landscape. This is Hightstown, a place of particular normality.

-I took a walk from slowdown to Lee's Turkey Farm, down to the rivers, over to Etra, and found myself swimming in Peddie Lake when I chose to go streaking across Peddie's campus, and climb up the flag pole of Hightstown Highschool, then out to route 130 where I took a couple stops at every mini-mall to relieve myself.

Hawthorne Heights

One of my favourite bands. They're amazing live. Just because "Ohio is for Lovers" said something about cutting wrists doesn't mean this is what they're telling their fans to do. I met Hawthorne Heights, they're one of the nicest bands imaginable. JT and Casey are absolute sweethearts. The only reason you hate them is because you're seeing these little "teenys" saying that the favourite song is either "Ohio", "Niki FM", or "Saying Sorry". Yeah, these songs are good, but they're not the only ones on their CDs.

Zack: Hey, where were you last night?
Me: I saw Hawthorne Heights live.
Zack: Oh man. They're awesome.
Me: I know.

Hamilton Heights

The western section of Harlem, runs west of St. Nicholas ave to the hudson river. A predominantly Dominican neighborhood thanks to Washington Heights being right above it, this area is home to famous landmarks such as Sugar Hill and the Hamilton Grange National Memorial.

Hamilton Heights is in Harlem, West Harlem to be exact.

The Heights

A small, private school in Potomac. This school is known for nonathletic smart losers, but in reality, it deserves a better reputation than it's given. Sure, most the kids there are stuck there because of their parents, and I know it's not the greatest school, but it does have a lot cool, athletic kids. Most Zag-Fags or Preppy boys or those freaks at Landon will say otherwise, but here's an idea, take a trip to the Heights in Potomac, sit down and watch a nice lacrosse game against say, our rival Notre Dame, maybe grab a bite to eat, and witness the truth that is the Heights.

The Heights is the school that gets bashed on, but actually, it's got it's share of lax brahhs and jock strap poney boys. Plus in a few years, rumor has it that a football stadium along with another 200+ students are comin'. The Heights is the place to be.
