The experience involves being argued against by multiple members simultaneously, receiving hostile messages, being publicly shamed in community spaces, and ultimately being ostracized or expelled. Unlike public social media gauntlets, community gauntlets happen in spaces where the victim had relationships, history, and belonging—making the betrayal deeper and the trauma more profound.
