Cats like to cover their feces, but if they've done their business on a frozen pond, no matter how long they try to dig up something to cover it with, their paws will always slide on the ice. The joke is the mental image of a cat making the digging motion on ice for a long time.

I don't know why I keep weeding that garden. I've been busier than a cat trying to bury a turd on a frozen pond, but I tell you what, there's gonna be just as many dandelions tomorrow.

"i'm not trying" is an excuse for people who lost in 1v1s.

It's basically an excuse to get away from the fact that you're actually bad at the game.
You might find this is Roblox fighting games, or other games as well.

i wasn't trying

the phrase used by wimps after any type of competition. If they lose the competition (game of COD, fight, wrestle off), they say "wow, i wasn't trying." If they somehow win, they say "wow, i beat you and i wasn't even trying"

Guy 1: Yo i destroyed you in COD. how did you end up with negative 16 deaths?
Guy 2: Yea, and how did that tiny ginger kid beat you up yesterday?
Wimp/Tool: Wow, i wasn't trying, obviously

Just trying to see if you were paying attention

Normally used by teachers to cover up when they make an idiotic mistake. By saying "Just trying to see if you were paying attention" teachers can make it seem like they meant to make their dumb mistake, when really they're just stupid...

Teacher: "On the test, we had over 5 FLAIRURES"

Student: "Don't you mean failures?"

Teacher: "NO, i was just trying to see if you were paying attention"

Student: "ah, of course"

Usually found in raves, parties, and clubs, it is a girl with a face like the ass of a horse with a body to match, yet she is clad in provocative clothing and is slathered with tons of makeup with her hair done and manicures. You know you are looking at an ugly bitch trying to look pretty when you see a humanoid hippo-chimpanzee hybrid dressed in an off-the-shoulder J.Lo top that is tied up to reveal her hairy stomach and linty outie, a skin-tight leather micromini small enough to be a belt, and thigh-high 7" tall boots. Her face is often encrusted with a layer of makeup that fails to conceal the yellow-white tops of her dime-sized acne. Behavior includes, flirting, strutting "sexily," blowing kisses and batting eyelashes.

Guy: Look at that ugly bitch trying to look pretty!
Other Guy: Does she seriously think that see-through blouse if going to fool anyone?
