Name submission 

Those type of annoying names that you see when you're voting on Urban Dictionary, always a Ryan or whatever name the person can think of, usually perfect and there's never a middle man in it.
Sometimes it even goes past the rules by having Inside shit like "___ is in love with ___ (the other person the person submitting it had submitted" and it always makes you disappointed when you have to choose where it goes.

Usually the fantasy of whoever writes it, the names either belong to perfect angels or bitches.

Urban Dictionary is so fucking gay. They don't accept funny submissions anymore. 

Urban Dictionary is fucking gay for not submitting my word! You guys put so much stupid shit on here, but I write one funny word that happens to have the word "gay" in it and you guys don't use it because you're so politically correct now.

The suspenseful auto-response one receives via email from Urban Dictionary after reviewing and confirming a brilliant addition!

Me: "Hey yo, you submit that hilarious word we made up last night to Urban Dictionary yet?"
You: "Yes, but I haven't received anything after I responded to the infamous "submission under review" auto-reply. Kinda hoping the editors keep me hanging then in 3-5 days I receive a "was published!" email and relive our genius all over again!

submission cancelled 

Its when a reviewer is too lazy to even look at a word. The person who submitted the word finds out five weeks later after submitting a word that it was cancelled before it was even looked at. A classic case of faggetry.

Todd: "Submission Cancelled"? What the fuck! It took five weeks for my word to get HERE?! Thats it, I'm going to define "Submission Cancelled". Lazy fucks.

Ego Submission

significance only to the person sending it. Submitting said definition is like
telling an inside joke during a stand up comedy routine. Its lack of universal appeal guarantees it will be a flop.

Most of the words on the editorial review pages are a bunch of stupid ego submissions, such as: "Virginia - a woman whose beauty, intelligence, wit, and knife-fighting skills ARE, IN FACT, what bring all the boys to the yard."
