Piviéra

Piviéra is a traditional summer festival of beer and friendship held in Orlické Hory in eastern Czech Republic. First historical Piviéra happened on midsummer of 2008.

Festival itself is about searching immortal truths, mystical secrets and higher purpose in life by drinking pilsner lager for five days in a row in the middle of the woods without electricity, running water and withouth the possibility of getting sober.

Empirical data indicates, that such actions as five-day-lager-drinking have a positive effect on one's soul and are highly recommended by many experts in such fields.

Other variations of such festival are being held around the globe unknowingly.

Damn dude, only four days left and we are off to my 13th Piviéra and my liver hurts already!
