Someone who sits around his computer all day keeping a dictionary by his side at all times, so when he can find his prey, he can use it to attack them using huge words he just learned. He often looks on Dictionary.com at the start of the day for a new big word to use.

Richie: "Stop talking to me, you are such a simpleton and you are not worth my time, you cretin, your wasting my completely precious time."

Mike: "Dude 'Cretin' is the word of the day on dictionary.com... Way to be an Emu Explorer."

In Dungeons and Dragons or any other pen and paper RPG, when the Dungeon Master (or DM) invents or gives a way for the players to live when they normally would have died.

Our DM is really easy to play with. Any time we're about to die, a little De-eMus ex Machina comes along and saves us.

the popular kid that used to harass all the old kids, but now they're in their scene/emo/goth/punk/edgelord phase, and yet they're still a 1000% bitch. So don't mess with them, they'll try or mess or put you down. Emus are very sadistic and cold-hearted, careless and sometimes greedy, so don't try to change them. They'll be plain old same, if you try make them realize they're mean, they already know who they are.

Emo Boy : Look at her, she used to be a meanass girl.
Emo Girl : I know right she's just like us, what an emu.
