Shiva

By usual definition - a shiva is an expendable employee used by a company like a tool. This term is associated with multitasking, when managers/supervisors push the employee beyond their means in order to get one task done then another, then another, racking it up to a good list of things to do in a full day of work.
The typical shiva is overworked and underpaid.

"Hey mate, I know you're busy loading trucks right now, could you clean the freezers and blast rooms for me please?" The manager tells you.
You say, "Do you think I'm a fuckin' shiva, mate?"

"That's it little shiva, you're only worth what we pay you."

"There's Robby again being picked on by the boss." "Man, he's giving him the shiva treatment."
