A movie you can watch with your girlfriend without getting in trouble. Often used in the negative sense, i.e. "Cannibal Holocaust is definitely not a Girlfriend Movie." Movie can also be substituted for music, TV show, etc.

"Bro I don't understand why Sheila got so mad at me while we were watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2!"

Peter Johnson Movies

A pejorative term used within the Percy Jackson and the Olympians fandom to describe the 2010 live-action film adaptation of The Lightning Thief, as well as its 2013 sequel, The Sea of Monsters. The term references the character Dionysus from the books, who is known to incorrectly refer to the franchise's titular character as "Peter Johnson."

Man, the Peter Johnson movies totally stunk! Did the writers even read a single word of the books?
