Noob (2nd Definition)

To get lucky. To win in a contest based on luck or cheats. The first use of this word originated from the character "Noob Saibot" in the video game "Mortal Kombat II".

The character Noob Saibot was named after Tobias Boon (Noob Saibot spelled backwards), one of the creators of the game. Considered to be the most dificult character of the game, Noob Saibot would "cheat" to win. Some would say their defeat by Noob Saibot was luck, chance.

It was common to hear someone say "you got noobed" when they would unfairly lose or to be called a noob if the person won in a "cheating" or "lucky" fashion while playing in a video game arcade.

Person 1: Wow, that guy was lucky!
Person 2: Yeah, you got noobed!

Example 2 -

That guy definitely cheats to win. What a noob!

2. When you don't like someone while playing a game and even though they aren't saying anything you just want them to shut the fuck up.

a noob is someone who calls you a noob for kicking there ass at a game or activity.

example: 'OIIIIIII, you are a venom noob because all you do is spawnkill with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Noob

A name given to a person who is very bad at what he is doing. Often mistaken as the same as newbie or newb, but a noob is someone who is as bad as if they were a newbie. Commonly used in video games, such as World of Warcraft, Counter-Strike, Halo, etc.
There are many variations of the name in, for example in leetspeak n00b, and nab, nub, plus many more.

Cole: Man, I was playing Counter-Strike for 8 hours last night! My best score was 15-134!
Andrew: sigh... noob...

chainsaw noob

a person in gears of war or gears of war 2 who takes advantage that getting shot with a shotgun from 2inches away and then telepots to you and chainsaws you. dosnt require much skill, only knowlege to realize that stopping power only works forcertain people and pint blanks only work for the host and his team
