Disco Turtle 

The act of opening a co-worker's CD drive and then flipping over their mouse, whilst calling out "Disco...turtle". This is done only for the purpose of annoying them.

The actions may be performed either by themselves or together, but if performed together, "Disco" always precedes "Turtle".

Ethan leans over Brandon's computer while he is talking to Lucas. Ethan hits the open button on Brandon's CD drive and calls out "Disco!" and then flips his mouse over, calling out "Turtle!"

Brandon says, "Dammit, I got Disco Turtled!"

Nuclear Turtle 

A nuclear turtle refers to a nuclear turd that won't quite launch. The missile is armed, the silo doors are open, but instead of launching, the head of the nuclear turd peeks out, much like a turtle in its shell. At this point, the nuclear turd has morphed into a nuclear turtle.

The silo doors are open, but my nuclear turd won't launch, looks like I've got a nuclear turtle.

I've been waiting on this nuclear turd for half an hour, I guess its now officially a nuclear turtle.

box turtle 

A prefix attached to the names of anti-gay conservatives who tend to use absurd comparisons between bestiality and same-sex marriage to vilify gays and lesbians.

Origins: Prepared remarks for Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) to be delivered to the Heritage Foundation included the following statement:

"It does not affect your daily life very much if your neighbor marries a box turtle. But that does not mean it is right. . . . Now you must raise your children up in a world where that union of man and box turtle is on the same legal footing as man and wife."

Although Cornyn never used the remarks, the speech caught attention on liberal blogs, especially after the speechwriter, Ben Domenech, was fired from the WashingtonPost.com blog for his history of plagiarism. It is still not clear whether the box turtle remark was original to Domenech, or lifted from somewhere else.

Box Turtle Ben is a fine patriot, and a loyal supporter of Our Dear Leader.
