In my opinion Dexter's last season was full of disappointment and his behaviors on last season were against the nature and definiton of a psychopath. So my personal opinion is he is a pure sociopath. BTW His son is a real pimp. Except from the last season, it's totally a masterpiece and you should read the book of show.
