Vacation Warp

The time warp you realize you have entered when returning from vacation. Some things are vaguely familer, some things time has stood still, and yet others are in a dimension yet to be discovered.

Dude 1: What's happening since I have been gone?

Dude 2: Are you kidding me? What kind of vacation warp are you in?

Dude 1: (half-zombied) Did I miss something?

vacation tag

A similar practice to phone tag that takes place between several vacations between two people. Often it happens like this: Person "A" goes on vacation. As person "A" gets back, person "B" leaves to go on his or her vacation. Then when person "B" returns, person "A" is off on another vacation or close to leaving for one. Etc. There is very little or no time for person "A" and person "B" to be together.

This can severely screw with potential relationships and ability to get action.

Can somebody say long distance relationship?

Vacation Vlogs

A youtuber who makes vlogs about the vacations that he goes on. His videos are top notch, and everyone loves them, yet the youtuber still said he might delete the channel since he thinks they are bad. He has gone on multiple trips to Hawaii, Korea, Canada, and other places. While he is still in school, he manages to perform to the best of his potential. He has become famous in his school because of Vacation Vlogs, yet still, he hates his videos, thinking them to be trash.

Person 1: Have you seen Vacation Vlogs new video? It's so good! I think I was the first person to like the video.
Person 2: I haven't yet! For some reason I haven't been getting notifications even though I hit the bell and subscribed like a good viewer does.
Person 1: Well make sure to watch it as soon as you can. It's the best one yet!

Pre-vacation vacation

A week before going on a vacation, when you don't care about your normal everyday doings. Your mind is prematurely in vacation mode. You don't care about work and any usual errands that you have to take care of.

I'm on a pre-vacation vacation. I've been going to work late and haven't been cleaning up around the house I haven't even worked out all week. I'm stuck in fun mode.
