Quiet retiring

Quiet retiring is the same as quiet quitting except the individual is working towards retirement and they are tired of putting in all the extra work and getting nothing more or earning anything more. This fall for someone that’s within 1 to 5 years of retirement from there career and even possibly 10 years depending on their job and or age.

Person one: I’ve noticed Paul has been slowing now and just getting by with the workload.

Person two: Yeah, he’s quiet retiring now. He’s just a few years away from the gold watch.

When you start whistling every "S" while talking, it's time to retire.

My coworker blows his retirement whistle like a referee every time he says a word that contains an "S" while he's talking on the phone. I wish he'd just throw in the towel and retire. It's seriously going to drive me batshit crazy.
