noun

Refers to a dialect where the speaker inserts an "er" sound in place of all other vowel sounds. As an example, "dot" would sound like "dirt". The name of this dialect is based on the founder's name, Cody. It has become somewhat popular among easily bored teenagers.

Concrete Ceiling

The concrete ceiling is the barrier associated with minority women that prevents them from making it far in the office work place. While some majority women are able to break through the glass ceiling, it is increadibly difficult for minority women to break through the concrete ceiling because they have to deal with both racism and sexism.

Many African American women encounter the concrete ceiling in the work place, which makes it difficult for them to be promoted to higher positions.
