PhD Reddit

A derogatory term when a person presents a 'credible' argument on the Internet to support their position despite the argument is false. Mostly (and recommended to be) used for science deniers and to know-it-all person. May be synonymous to Karen MD, but this term is more broad.

Person A (an anti-vaxx): I have a list of blog articles ( mostly cherry-picked) that suggest vaccines cause autism. Therefore, vaccines cause autism.

Person B: Cool, pretty sure you have a PhD Reddit to state that statement. What's the title of your thesis, fam?

Reddit Tennis

To deliberately keep someone posting comments on a website, but only after they've made it clear that talking to you isn't something they had planned. Once a set number of comments is reached, the comment REDDIT TENNIS is posted to end the rally.

This isn't limited to reddit, it can be seen on any forum where comments are nested instead of displayed in order of posting.

Redbox Idiot

Dumb piece-of-shit moron renting at Redbox who takes a long time to pick a fuckin' movie.

To make a movie-renting decision, this priceless imbecile has to read every bit of information posted on the screen about the movie, as if he was inquiring about valuable real estate. Meanwhile, the long line of people waiting to get a movie continues to grow around the McDonald's, Walgreen's, etc.

Him: "Mmmmm, should I rent Transformers 2? Let's read what this flick is about..."

Me, standing in line right behind him: "Fuckin' Redbox Idiot!"
