Also related to blink-and-boom conditions with emails, where you blink and 10 emails drop in your inbox, while you were still responding to the last 50. In blink-and-boom situation, your delirious mind starts to think that somehow the blinking is causing more emails. So you stop blinking - hoping that emails will stop coming or senders of those emails will look at your red teary eyes, have mercy on you and stop sending more emails ( hardly ever works, but give it a shot ).
