Buds with Boundaries

The opposite of friends with benefits. While friends with benefits revel in the sexual tension between them, buds with boundaries do their best NOT to have sex with each other. Their objective is to be cordial and friendly with one another, at all times respectful of the other person's romantic relationships.

Jill and Jack once were romantically involved, but have since become buds with boundaries, keeping things pleasantly platonic and sex-free.

The "mansplaining" of the weed industry. When a cannabis user uninvitedly tries to educate another user about something they are already familiar with. Usually comes with the assumption that they know more about the topic, and is frequently targeted toward female smokers by men with fragile egos.

A customer walks into the dispensary, and approaches a female budtender with years of education and experience. He attempts budsplaining how thc percentages work to her and proceeds to complain about everything on the shelf, brags about how he was "smoking before she was alive," then finally walks out with the shittiest strain because it was cheapest.
