The college town of San Luis Obispo, California. San Luis Obispo is roughly half way between SF and LA on 101 near the beach. It is populated mostly by students and retired rich people. There is little if any economy outside of the local university and a large state prison. The town is sometimes referred to as SLO or much to the chagrin of locals "San Louie"
