Hipster

The annoying version of a hippie. A hippie does not wear makeup, keeps their hair natural, and eats healthy foods. Hipsters wear those stupid glasses, post quotes, and say they are a hippie or nerdy.

Peasant: OMG! I'm such a hippie. Look at my glasses. Look I can hold up a peace sign! I am such a hipster.

Sarah: "John! You are totally hipster bashing that guy!"

Hipster

Basically a city hippy except more conceited. They dress in a way that makes them look like they got dressed in the dark with clashing colors and patterns when in fact they spent a long time getting ready. They really like talking about themselves and their values that can change by the next time you talk to them. They pride themselves on being non-conformists but they are conforming in that way.

"Why does that guy have tall greased hair?"
"Oh, he is just a hipster"

So a hipster is 2 young to have the life experience 2 be wise yet is arrogantly morally superior/ judgmental, & absurdly closed-minded to any idea that challenges their dogma. They condemn racism but have never put it to the test by living in a 3rd world country, never even been uncomfortable or w/o tech toys. Choose to be thin but have never known/witnessed actual starvation. Judge/condemn others by body shape, hairstyle, clothing while claiming to be non-conformists. Constantly reduce human beings to 2 dimensional stereotypes, cluster in urban areas to reassure each other of their superiority rather than bravely dispersing to spread their values of unity, creativity, free thought, & racial integration to ACTUALLY change the world. I could go on pointing out the massive bias/ludicrously inaccurate hypocritical statements made here ( hipsters invented distressed jeans? Really? Diamond wash was commercially available in the 70s) but I will just summarize this article by saying it is completely delusional-the opinion of a 58 year old woman who lived in Jamaica 12 years, has Mexican & Jamaican daughters, traveled many countries, known true hunger, sacrificed to help others not just espoused beliefs on the internet to gratify my own ego, & doesn't feel superior to anyoneac, except possibly the moron that wrote this article.

Right after a free-thinking, open-minded hipster lays eyes on someone, they form an opinion based on a few spare facts, and know they are morally superior to someone who does not dress like them.

Homie Hipster

A homie hipster is someone (in almost every case a person) who are a member of a homie-group and does everything the other homies doesn't and stop doing thing that the other homies do.

example 1. Everyone plays League of legend's

Homie hipster stops playing it or starts to play HoN/DotA

example 2. Homies: Lets play some counter-strike!

Homie-hipster: No.. i've stoped playing that piece of shiii game.

Nouveau Hipster

A term used to describe something that was underground at first (hipster), became mainstream and not cool, reverted back to lame obscurity only to be revived to hipster status again. The hipster circle-of-life.

Since Coachella is just mainstream now, I won't go until it reaches nouveau hipster status.
