Often they will watch what you are working on, run inside to watch a Youtube video, and then come out and try to act like they know about the subject. This often leads to improper use of words of phrases they know nothing about to look "cool" and knowledgeable.
These types are easily distinguished from the true "professionals" because they lack full understanding of the subject, practice improper use of the subject matter, and often run back and forth to the computer, and sometimes even bring it with them to "watch" and work.
Be sure to protect yourself from Youtube Hero's because they will likely mess up whatever they are working on and you will be caught holding the bill. They can be found in many areas but tend to favor Electronics, Computers, Car Audio, and Automotive Repair.

Nick was busy trying to get his stereo wired up yesterday when his room-mate came out trying to be a Youtube Hero. He heard us debating over which way would sound best and came out there and began talking out of his ass. We called him out and made him feel like a real dumb-ass. Some creators like pewdiepie, smosh, and nigahiga have made it big and are now able to make Youtube a full time job.
